EOU Beats Multnomah Again

La Grande, Ore. – Eastern Oregon Men's basketball team outscored Multnomah Bible College 50-38, in the second half to defeat the Lions (0-2),109-79.
 
For the second night in a row Trent Roos led the Mountaineers (2-0) with 23 points, with 18 in the first half, while also contributing 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Tony Eackles Jr. added 20 points, as well as 6 assists and 5 rebounds. Six of the Mountaineers scored in double figures.
 
The Mountaineers shot an even fifty percent on the night. Making 40 out of 80 from the field and 10 for 20 from behind the arc.
 
Austin Hodges led Multnomah's offense as he had a game-high 34 points, shooting 7 for 15 from the field and was nearly perfect from the free-throw line making 17 out of 18. David Walker added 18 points for the Lions, sinking 3 out of his 7 shots from behind the arc.
