LA GRANDE, Ore. -- The No. 23 Eastern Oregon University men's basketball team travels to The Evergreen State College and No. 10 Northwest University Thursday and Friday for its next games.

ABOUT THE GEODUCKS
The Evergreen State College comes into this set of Cascade Collegiate Conference games after winning only one of its first 12 games of the season. The Geoducks lone win was over NCAA Div. 3's Pacific Lutheran. TESC has lost five straight since the win, including road losses at Northwest Christian and Corban to begin conference play. Evergreen has been outscored by an average of 16 points per game so far this season. Marice Tolliver leads the Geoducks as an all-around talent. The senior averages 18.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 2.0 steals, and 0.6 blocks per game. All of those stats lead the team. Tolliver was named All-Conference last season and preseason All-Conference this year. The Geoducks have had only one home game so far this season, with no conference games at home yet.

ABOUT THE EAGLES
No. 10 Northwest University rides into the weekend on its best start in school history. The Eagles have won their first 12 games of the season, and are the only undefeated team left in NAIA Div. 2. Northwest has faced six opponents that currently have winning records. The Eagles sit tied for first place in the conference after being picked fifth in the CCC preseason poll. NU is second in the country in assist to turnover ratio, fourth in field goal percentage defense, sixth in total rebound margin and scoring defense per game, eighth in assists per game and scoring margin, and ninth in steals per game. Jordan Call's 14.4 points per game leads the Eagles. Michael Greene is averaging 7.6 rebounds per game. Rich Skillman leads Northwest with 4.5 assists and 3.1 steals per game, which is third in the nation.
