EASTERN OREGON NOTEWORTHY
• Eastern Oregon is 14-2 in Cascade Collegiate Conference play for the first time in school history.
• The Mountaineers clinched a spot in the postseason last weekend. It's third trip to the CCC Tournament in the past four seasons.
• Eastern has appeared in seven straight NAIA polls, but have yet to leave the receiving votes category.
• EOU received 35 votes in this week's poll, its highest amount of the season.
• The Mountaineers have reached at least 18 wins only once in the past 20 years.
• Eastern has won five consecutive matches over Oregon Tech.
• Before those five losses, the Owls had won three straight matches over EOU.
• Tech last defeated EOU on Oct. 18, 2008, in five sets in La Grande.
• OIT swept the 2008 season series, both were five set matches.
• Before Eastern's win over SOU earlier this year, Southern Oregon had won five straight matches over the Mountaineers dating back to a 3-2 win on Oct. 17, 2008.
• The Raiders enter the weekend on an 11-match winning streak.
• SOU plays No. 6 College of Idaho in the NAIA National Match of the Week Friday.
• Southern and Eastern are currently tied for second place, with EOU holding the tiebreaker with its earlier home win this season.
• Since 2000, SOU has a 20-4 advantage over Eastern.
• If the Raiders lose Friday and EOU wins, then SOU would need to sweep Eastern Saturday to move to the next tiebreaker due to Eastern sweeping Southern.
• The Raiders lead the all-time series 64-24.
• If College of Idaho wins just one set at Southern it would be the regular season CCC champions and host the conference tournament Nov. 11-12.
• If that C of I set win happens, then EOU and the Raiders would be two and three.
• Northwest and Concordia battle for the fourth spot, with NU holding a slight lead.
• Eastern is 13-0 when holding opponents under .100 attack percentage.
• The Mountaineers are 15-1 when leading in attack percentage, but 0-6 trailing.
Jessica Lea broke the school career record for sets played last weekend, and is seven matches away from the school record for matches played in a career.
Kaitlyn Duncan surpassed the EOU record for digs in a career this season.
