LA GRANDE, Ore. – Eastern Oregon University's track and field team is set to compete at the 2026 Cascade Collegiate Conference Track & Field Championships, presented by U.S. Bank, with the multi-events kicking off tomorrow, April 16.
The multi-events competition will take place April 16–17 at Southern Oregon University's Raider Stadium in Ashland, with the full conference meet scheduled for May 8-9 here in La Grande on Banner Bank Track. Action begins at 10 a.m. each day, featuring two full days of competition in the men's decathlon and women's heptathlon.
Eastern Oregon will be represented by
Loren Wright,
Stephen Pittman, and
Nathan Wachs on the men's side, while
Elizabeth Grandle,
Kaliyah Chronister, and
Naiya Senethavilay will compete for the women.
Senior Grandle leads the conference and ranks No. 6 on the NAIA leaderboard with 4,587 points, a mark she recorded at the Pacific Multi. Freshman Chronister sits No. 10 with 4,193 points, also achieved at the Pacific Multi. In individual events, Grandle ranks No. 9 in the javelin (42.46m), while Pittman is tied for No. 10 in the pole vault (4.80m).
Conference awards will be presented at the full meet in May. The top three finishers in each event will earn All-CCC honors, while the top eight will score team points toward the final standings.

Decathlon
10 a.m. Thursday – 100m, long jump, shot put, high jump, 400m
10 a.m. Friday – 110m hurdles, discus, pole vault, javelin, 1,500m
Heptathlon
10:30 a.m. Thursday – 100m hurdles, high jump, shot put, 200m
10:15 a.m. Friday – long jump, javelin, 800m
