Men Continue to Receive Votes in Final NAIA Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Eastern Oregon Men's Basketball continued its run in the national conversation this week, receiving 14 votes in the latest NAIA Top 25 Coaches Poll, released Wednesday morning.

The Mountaineers wrapped up regular season play, finishing as Co-Conference Champions with Lewis-Clark State College while holding a 16-4 conference record. As Co-Conference Champions, EOU has also clinched hosting the Quarterfinal in the CCC Tournament.

Since the previous poll, the Mountaineers posted a 4-0 record with wins over Bushnell, Corban, Southern Oregon, and Oregon Tech.

As a team, Eastern Oregon ranks first in the CCC in three-point percentage (40.6%), free-throw percentage (79.5%), points per game (85.3), and field goal percentage (49.3%).

Individually, several Mounties rank among the top five in the conference. Eamon Monahan is fifth in scoring (17.4 points per game) and second in free-throw percentage (83.9%). Trent Rogers ranks first in three-point percentage (47.9%). Logan Orchard sits third in total assists with 122.
James Bodily sits eighth (42.3%) while Monahan ranks ninth (41.6%) in three-point percentage.

The CCC is also represented in the poll by No. 23 Lewis-Clark State. 

Eastern Oregon returns to action Wednesday, February 25, at home at Quinn Coliseum to host Corban University for the Cascade Conference Tournament Quarterfinal at 7:00 p.m.
