KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the
2026 NAIA Daktronics Scholar-Athletes for winter sports, recognizing student-athletes who have demonstrated academic excellence. Eastern Oregon University has been represented by 27 Mountaineers across its basketball and wrestling programs.
To qualify as an NAIA Scholar-Athlete, students must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for their sport, and have attended their institution for at least one full year.
Amongst EOU's winter teams, women's basketball led with 9 honorees, followed by men's wrestling (8), women's wrestling (5), and men's basketball (5).
