CORVALLIS, Ore. – The No. 25 Eastern Oregon University Men's Wrestling team was named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Team of the Week after posting a 2–0 record over the weekend with wins against No. 14 Arizona Christian University and No. 9 Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Following a weekend trip to Arizona, the Mountaineers returned home with two impressive additions to their dual-meet record. Eastern opened the weekend on Friday with a dominant 25–12 victory over Arizona Christian. The win was highlighted by two weight-class upsets, as No. 15 Kai Carson defeated No. 5 Jason Ramirez by an 11–8 decision at 133 pounds, while unranked freshman Daniel Guerrero earned an 8–3 decision over No. 12 Michael Tujillo at 141 pounds.

Eastern capped the weekend on Saturday with a hard-fought 27–24 win over Embry-Riddle. The teams split the dual with five wins apiece, but the Mountaineers secured the narrow victory by outscoring the Eagles through two pins and three technical falls.

The strong weekend performance earned Eastern Oregon its first CCC Team of the Week honor of the season and the program's first since 2022.
