Kylan Guerra and
Kelsie Siegner were recognized in the latest Cascade Collegiate Conference McDonald's Players of the Week release, presented by Urban Edge Network.
Men's Wrestling
Guerra, a sophomore from Blackfoot, Idaho, earned his first CCC Player of the Week honor after capturing his first career tournament title at the Evergreen Open.
Competing at 174 pounds, he delivered a dominant performance, finishing undefeated with three pins and a technical fall. His run included falls at 5:29 over unattached Lamonte Sandling, 2:47 over Nelson Wong (University of Washington), and 2:58 over Riley Jones (Umpqua CC). Guerra capped the day with an 18–8 victory over Robert Lee of the University of Idaho in the championship match.
Women's Basketball - Defensive
Siegner, the senior guard from Crane, Oregon, earned her fifth weekly honor this season following another standout defensive performance last week against No.20 Corban University and Bushnell University.
Across the two games, she totaled 17 rebounds, seven blocks, and three steals, anchoring the Mountaineers' defense. Her rim protection and defensive rebounding limited the Warriors to 36.4% shooting and the Beacons to just 29.8%. Siegner's all-around impact also secured her seventh double-double of the season.
