KANSAS CITY, Mo. – In the fifth NAIA Men's Wrestling rating, Eastern Oregon University received 34 votes, with two Mountaineers in the individual rankings, announced by the NAIA National Office Thursday morning.
Kai Carson remained in the No.14 spot of the 133 pound division, with 79 points. Nico Rodriquez moved up two spots to the No.6 spot of the heavyweight division with 126 points.
The Cascade Conference was heavily represented, with No.6 Southern Oregon, No.8 Embry-Riddle (Ariz.), No.12 Providence, No.15 Arizona Christian, No.17 Corban, and No.24 Montana State-Northern. Westcliff (8), Evergreen (8), and Simpson (2) also received votes.
Mountaineer wrestling is set to wrestle tonight, January 15th, as they host No.17 Corban for a Senior Night Dual. They will head to Olympia, Washington on Sunday to compete in the Evergreen Open.
