Eastern Climbs to Top of National Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Eastern Oregon University has climbed to the top of the NAIA Women's Volleyball Top 25 Poll for the first time since 2023, announced by the national office on Wednesday morning.

The Mountaineers have jumped four positions from the previous rankings to take the number one spot. They head into conference play this weekend with an 8-0 overall record, having dropped only one set thus far.

Behind EOU are the Bulldogs of Concordia (Neb.), who the Mounties recently upset in a sweep at the CSM Labor Day Classic. Bellevue (Neb.) follows at No. 3, and is trailed by Corban and Providence to round out the top five.

No. 10 College of Idaho and No. 19 Southern Oregon also represent the Cascade Collegiate Conference in the poll, as well as Northwest, Oregon Tech, and Lewis-Clark State which are all receiving votes.

Eastern will kick off CCC action on Friday, welcoming Evergreen State to Quinn Coliseum at 6:00 p.m.
