MARION, Ind. – Eastern Oregon wrapped up the season on Friday, competing in their final six events of the 2025 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships.
In the team standings, the men's team finished in a six-way tie for 7th overall with a total of 26 points. The women's team finished in a five-way tie for 17th with 14 points.
The Mounties had four athletes earn All-American honors in Friday's events, bringing the total to seven All-Americans over the three-day meet.
"Very proud of the athletes this week. Weather conditions were challenging at times, but they were able to rise above that, stay positive, and remain focused. As a result, we had some outstanding performances.
Adrienne competed very well in a strong field of heptathlon athletes and was a bit beat up in today's high jump, but still had plenty to be proud of. Skotlyn was able to overcome a rough start in the first two hurdles to come on strong and secure her first All-American honor. Sadie was feeling the effects of a hard-run prelim in the final but still finished above her seed. Riley Morris had an outstanding meet—she shattered her own personal best, the program record, and earned All-American honors."
On the men's side, every guy who was seeded to score not only did so, but finished higher than projected.
Justin Ash overcame a hard fall at the beginning of the second lap in the steeplechase. Despite that, he got up to run a small personal best. George also fought hard to finish 10th after being seeded 15th.
Tanner Nett capped off a standout career with a strong performance.
Overall, very proud of all their efforts!" – Coach Ben Welch
