LA GRANDE, Ore. – Eastern Oregon University's Adrienne Washington has been named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week after an outstanding performance at the Pacific Multis.
Washington, a senior from Lewiston, Idaho, dominated the competition, securing first place in the heptathlon with a score of 4,638. Her performance not only secured the title but also currently stands as the top heptathlon mark in the NAIA this season.
The Mounties will return to action this weekend at the Whitworth Peace Meet in Spokane on Friday.
