LA GRANDE, Ore. – Eastern Oregon University's Nico Rodriguez has been named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Men's Wrestler of the Week, the league announced Monday.

Rodriguez, a sophomore heavyweight from Azle, Texas, delivered a standout performance in No. 21 Eastern Oregon's dual against No. 6 Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University on Sunday. Ranked No. 12 in the 285-pound division, Rodriguez pulled off a major upset, defeating No. 2-ranked Kenneth Copley in a 4-2 decision. 

The Mountaineers will return to action on February 8th, taking on Southern Oregon in Prineville, Oregon.
