Eastern Oregon Men’s Track & Field Climbs To No. 11 In National Rankings; Women Fall To No. 19

La Grande, Ore. - The Eastern Oregon University men's track & field team continues its ascent in the national rankings, rising to No. 11 in this week's U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NAIA poll. The Mountaineers' women's team also continued to stay in the poll falling to the No. 19 spot in the latest rankings.

Both teams have continued their strides of success in the indoor season, highlighted by multiple top-10 event rankings. The men's team saw strong contributions across various disciplines, including a third-place ranking in the high jump, a sixth place ranking in 600 meter and top-10 placements in multiple distance events. On the women's side, standout performances in the sprints helped maintain their national ranking.

3rd - Men's High Jump
6th - Men's 600 Meters
6th - Men's 5000 Meters
8th - Men's 1000 Meters
8th - Men's 3000 Meters
10th - Men's Shot Put

7th - Women's 1000 Meter
9th - Women's 60 Meter
9th - Women's 200 Meter
10th - Women's 60 Meter Hurdles

EOU Track & Field will look to carry this into their last invite of the year at the EOU Last Chance Invitational hosted by the Mounties February 14th - 15th at the EOU Field House.
