SPOKANE, Wash. – Eastern Oregon University track and field continued its strong start to the indoor season on Saturday at the Spokane Invitational, turning in multiple all-time program performances, national qualifying marks, and season bests inside The Podium Powered by STCU.
The Mountaineers battled a large field featuring NCAA Division I and II programs, NAIA contenders, and top junior college squads, and still walked away with major improvements across the board.
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- Keaton Moore placed sixth in the 60m (6.87), continuing a strong start to his freshman campaign.
- Justin Krabbenhoft delivered one of the headline performances of the meet with a huge PR in the 60m hurdles, running 8.29—an improvement of over three tenths and now No. 3 all-time at EOU.
- Osman Osman clocked a big early-season mark in the 400m, finishing second in 48.84.
- Peter Daniels followed Osman closely in fourth at 49.44, a time that jumps him to No. 4 all-time in EOU history.
- Grady Greenwood raced to second place in the 5k, running 15:19.91.
- The 4x400 squad of Daniels, Jayce Bartley, Reuben Manzer, and Osman placed second in a deep field, running 3:19.97—a 2025 season best that now ranks No. 4 in EOU history.
- Mark Church finished third in the 35-pound weight throw with 17.98m, improving his national "B" standard mark.
- Krabbenhoft added a fourth-place finish in the pole vault, clearing 4.35m.
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- Sara McKen broke her own school record in the 60m, placing fourth in 7.64 to hit the national "B" standard.
- Nora Roscoe finished sixth in the 60m at 7.73, slightly improving her PR to solidify her place at No. 3 all-time.
- Roscoe returned in the 200m to place second in 24.94, earning another national "B" standard and moving to No. 3 all-time at EOU.
- McKen added a fourth-place finish in the 200m (25.37).
- Riley Morris threw down a massive breakthrough in the 3k, running 10:22.86 for an improvement of over a minute—vaulting from No. 25 to No. 5 all-time at EOU.
- Kaleah Hines placed second in the 5k at 18:43.56, climbing to No. 3 all-time.
- Kiah Carlson finished fourth in the 5k at 19:40.35, moving to No. 9 all-time.
- The 4x400 team of Taylor Joyce, Madisen Douglas, McKen, and Roscoe claimed second in 3:57.95, a 2025 season best and the No. 10 time in program history, beating several NCAA DI and DII squads in the process.
- Joyce also cleared 3.15m in the pole vault to finish fourth.

Eastern Oregon will now break for the holidays before returning to action on January 23 at the Lauren McCluskey Memorial Open hosted by the University of Idaho.
