LA GRANDE, Ore. – The Eastern Oregon University women's soccer team is headed to the 2025 Cascade Collegiate Conference Championship Tournament as the No. 3 seed, beginning Saturday, November 8, in Medford, Oregon.
The Mountaineers will open tournament play against sixth-seeded Oregon Tech in the quarterfinals at 10 a.m. The winner will advance to the semifinals on Monday, November 10, with the championship match scheduled for Wednesday, November 12. All games will be held at the Lithia & Driveway Fields.
Under third-year head coach
Josh Goodman, EOU is making its eighth consecutive and 11th overall appearance in the CCC Tournament, aiming for its first title since 2019.
The Mountaineers wrapped up the 2025 regular season with a 13-4-1 record, including a 10-2 mark in conference play, marking the most regular-season wins in program history. EOU ranks fourth in the CCC in goals (38), points (99), and shutouts (7).
Leading the offense,
Peyton Jacaway has tallied seven goals on the year, ranking 13th in the conference, while
Macy Reed's five assists place her ninth. Defensively, the Mounties are anchored by seniors
Karina DeYoung,
Tess Sando, and
Sydney Peck. In goal,
Rylee Schei holds a 6-2-1 record and ranks 11th in the CCC with a .696 save percentage.
The rest of the tournament field includes No. 7 College of Idaho, (RV) Southern Oregon, Rocky Mountain, Bushnell, Northwest, and Carroll.
