KANSAS CITY, Mo. – In the second regular-season NAIA Men's Wrestling Coaches' Top 25 Poll, Eastern Oregon University moved to No. 22, with three Mountaineers remaining in the individual national rankings, released Thursday morning by the NAIA national office.
The Mountaineers dropped two spots from their previous team ranking of No. 20 following a challenging weekend against No. 7 Southern Oregon, and now hold 51 team points.
Individually, all three ranked wrestlers stayed in the national listings, though each shifted slightly from their previous positions. At 125 pounds,
Jackson Eylar now sits at No. 11 after previously being ranked No. 4, earning 99 ranking points. At 197 pounds,
Eric Karas moved to No. 16 from his earlier position at No. 13, totaling 71 points. In the heavyweight division,

The Cascade Collegiate Conference continued to show its strength in the poll, with nearly every program either ranked or receiving votes. Represented in the Top 25 were No. 7 Southern Oregon, No. 11 Embry-Riddle, No. 14 Providence, No. 17 Arizona Christian, No. 17 Corban, and No. 25 MSU-Northern. Simpson, Westcliff, and Evergreen also received votes, further underscoring the depth of the conference.
The NAIA Top 25 rankings are determined through a coaches' panel voting system that evaluates team and individual performances using a points-based rubric.
