KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Eastern Oregon women's soccer team is turning heads on the national stage. In the final regular-season NAIA Women's Soccer Top 25 Coaches' Poll, the Mountaineers received national votes, joining fellow Cascade Collegiate Conference powerhouses No. 6 College of Idaho and RV Southern Oregon in the rankings.

Riding a wave of momentum, EOU entered the postseason as the No. 3 seed in the Cascade Collegiate Conference and battled through two intense playoff matches — including a dramatic semifinal that went all the way to penalty kicks. The Mountaineers rose to the occasion, earning their spot in the CCC Tournament Championship matchup against No. 6 College of Idaho and locking in a bid to the NAIA National Tournament.
