KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Eastern Oregon University wrestling programs made their mark in the most recent NAIA Coaches' Polls, with both the women's and men's teams earning national rankings.

The EOU women's wrestling team climbed to No. 17 in the NAIA Women's Wrestling Coaches' Poll, showcasing the program's growth and competitiveness. Five Mountaineers earned individual rankings in their respective weight classes, highlighted by Wieber's No. 3 ranking in the 145 pound division:

• 110 – No. 16 Nia Avelino
• 110 – No. 18 Gloria Diaz
• 117 – No. 13 Irma Retano
• 124 – No. 8 Kadence Beck
• 145 – No. 3 Liv Wieber

On the men's side, the Mountaineers secured the No. 18 spot in the NAIA Men's Wrestling Coaches' Poll, highlighted by five nationally ranked individuals, including Kyle Knudtson's impressive No. 3 ranking at 184 pounds:

• 184 – No. 3 Kyle Knudtson
• 197 – No. 14 Eric Karas
• 285 – No. 8 Nico Rodriguez
• 285 – No. 17 Darrian Hoobery

Both teams return to action this weekend on the road for Cascade Collegiate Conference matchups, featuring Saturday duals followed by the Evergreen State Open on Sunday.
