CLEVELAND, Ohio. - With spring sports officially concluded, Learfield has announced its final Director's Cup NAIA spring standings. The Mountaineers finished strong in the spring season, ranking 32nd out of 197 total schools.
Men's Track & Field led the scoring for the Mountaineers, earning 57.8 points by placing 15th in the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Following closely behind was Softball, earning 57 points with an 11th place finish, while Women's Track & Field contributed 9 points with a 62nd place ranking.
Eastern Oregon hit the ground running with 199 total points across the fall season, securing an eighth-place ranking due to impressive performances from Volleyball and both the Men's and Women's Cross Country teams. Continuing their success into the winter period, Eastern Oregon's women's basketball, men's indoor track and field, and men's and women's wrestling teams collectively earned 151 points.
The LEARFIELD Directors' Cup, a collaboration between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today, awards points based on each institution's performance in NAIA Championships. The Cascade Collegiate Conference was strongly represented, with eleven different teams appearing within the rankings.
