14 Mounties Named Daktronics Outdoor Track and Field Scholar Athletes

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The academic awards started rolling in for the Eastern Oregon Men's and Women's Track and Field programs on Tuesday, with 14 Mounties named Daktronics Scholar-Athletes.

The full list features 2,076 student-athletes that achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their institution. To be nominated, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.

Several of these high achieving students-athletes will also have the chance to earn recognition at the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championship this weekend, scheduled to take place at Indiana Wesleyan University from May 22nd to May 24th.
