HELENA, Mont. – The Frontier Conference released its 2025 football schedule today, marking a new era of competition with the division of the league into East and West Divisions. Eastern Oregon University will compete in the West Division, which also includes Arizona Christian University, Carroll College, the College of Idaho, Simpson University, Southern Oregon University, and the University of Montana Western.
The realignment aligns with the NAIA's allocation of automatic berths to the Football Championship Series (FCS), with each division's best six-game record earning an automatic berth and potential at-large selections also in play.
Head Coach Tim Camp expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming season, emphasizing the quality of opponents within the conference.
"We are very excited about the strength of our 2025 schedule," said Camp. "There are quality opponents all over the schedule, and with new teams joining the conference, we are sure to be challenged each and every week. Right out of the gate, we face what might be one of the best teams in the conference playing at the College of Idaho. The Frontier continues to be one of the best small college football conferences in the country, and 2025 will be no different."
The Mountaineers will open the season on the road in Caldwell, Idaho, and host five home games at Community Stadium in La Grande, Oregon.
