CORVALLIS, Ore. – The 2024 Cascade Collegiate Conference Volleyball postseason awards were announced Wednesday by the conference office, highlighting another impressive season for Eastern Oregon Volleyball.

Senior defensive specialist/libero Hailey Arritola, from Mount Angel, Ore., capped off a standout season by earning the recognition of Libero of the Year. Arritola was a defensive difference maker throughout the year, averaging 4.49 digs per set and contributing 27 service aces—both ranking in the top 10 in the CCC. Her efforts were instrumental in keeping the Mountaineers ranked in the NAIA polls and securing the top seed in the CCC tournament, becoming Eastern Oregon's all-time career dig leader. Arritola's consistent performance also earned her CCC Defender of the Week and NAIA National Defender of the Week honors.

In addition to Arritola, senior setter Alexis McMurtrey from Idaho Falls, Idaho, was also named Setter of the Year by the CCC. McMurtrey played a key role in leading EOU to a 19-3 record in CCC play, averaging 6.26 assists per set—the fourth highest in the conference. Her outstanding play was recognized with CCC Setter of the Week honors twice this season, while this honor marks her second consecutive year winning the top setter award in the conference. McMurtrey also reached a significant career milestone by surpassing 3,000 assists earlier in the season.

Ashton Bales, Kiauna Mack, Alexis McMurtrey, and Hailey Arritola were all named to the All-Conference First Team. Additionally, Madison Morgan earned an Honorable Mention for her contributions to the Mountaineers' success.
