LA GRANDE, Ore. — Eastern Oregon University basketball started the season strong with standout performances, earning both Kelsie Siegner and TJ Doman Cascade Collegiate Conference Player of the Week honors.

Men's Basketball – Defensive Player of the Week
TJ Doman, a senior guard from Woodburn, Ore., has been named the CCC Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week. Doman was pivotal in leading the Mountaineers to two victories, showcasing his defensive prowess. Across 56 minutes of play, he notched five steals, three blocks, and 18 rebounds, while also contributing six assists and 28 points. Doman's impressive performance was highlighted by a field goal shooting percentage of 68.4.

Women's Basketball – Offensive Player of the Week
Kelsie Siegner, a junior guard from Crane, Ore., was named the CCC Women's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week. Siegner spearheaded Eastern Oregon's offensive efforts, tallying 37 total points on a 45.2% field goal shooting percentage. Over 70 minutes of play, she added 20 rebounds and four assists, demonstrating her all-around impact on the court.

Both Siegner and Doman, along with their teammates, will be back in action this weekend. The men's team will head to Caldwell to compete in the Domino's Classic, while the women will travel to Lewiston to participate in the Twin Rivers Physical Therapy Classic, both starting on Friday.
