KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Eastern Oregon men's soccer fought to a 1-1 draw against Oregon Tech on Saturday afternoon at OIT Soccer Field.
The match saw both teams score in separate halves, as EOU struck first with a goal from Manuel Rodriguez in the 20th minute, assisted by Cristian Trujillo. Oregon Tech answered early in the second half when Ben Bradshaw found the back of the net in the 53rd minute, assisted by Cash Cota and Merrick Tambio.
Eastern Oregon controlled the first half outshooting the Owls 9-3 and earning four corner kicks, capitalizing with Rodriguez's strike. Oregon Tech rebounded in the second half, increasing their shot total to 11 and leveling the score with Bradshaw's goal.
The Mountaineers finished the match with 15 total shots, but only three were on target, while Oregon Tech tallied 14 shots, with seven on goal. EOU goalkeeper Anthony Lemus made six saves to help preserve the draw, while Ryan Solis recorded two saves for OIT.
