ASHLAND, Ore. – Eastern Oregon University men's soccer suffered a tough 1-0 defeat to Southern Oregon University on Friday afternoon at Raider Stadium.
The lone goal came early in the 20th minute, when Southern Oregon's Franco Fasoli found the back of the net off an assist from Kaito Nakayama. Despite creating several chances, the Mountaineers couldn't break through Southern Oregon's defense. EOU tallied 15 shots, five of which were on goal, but Raiders' goalkeeper Casey Ruvolo stood tall, making five crucial saves.
