CORVALLIS, Ore. – Eastern Oregon University's Justin Ash and Kiauna Mack have been recognized as Cascade Collegiate Conference Players of the Week for their standout performances over the weekend.

Men's Cross Country – Runner of the Week
Justin Ash, a senior from Baker City, Ore., was named the CCC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week after an impressive showing at the Linfield George Oja Invite on Saturday. Ash finished 10th out of 100 runners in the 8k race, clocking in at 24:38.8. His performance helped lead the No. 10-ranked Mountaineers to a 3rd place finish out of 23 teams.

Volleyball – Defender of the Week
Kiauna Mack, a junior middle hitter from Puyallup, Wash., earned her second CCC Defender of the Week accolade this season. Mack recorded 18 block assists (2.25 blocks per set), 15 kills, and three digs over the weekend, playing a crucial role in the Mounties' victories over No. 9-ranked Corban University and (RV) Bushnell University. She currently leads the conference in blocks and ranks second in the NAIA for blocks per set with an average of 1.71.
