KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Eastern Oregon volleyball remains one of the top NAIA programs in the country, despite slipping one spot to No. 3 in the latest NAIA Women's Volleyball Coaches' Top 25 poll, released Wednesday. The Mountaineers, now 16-1 on the season, earned 527 points, just behind new No. 2 Jamestown and top-ranked Northwestern, which remains undefeated with 20 first-place votes.

The highest and lowest ratings for each team are excluded from the calculation, and each team's rating is then recalculated, adding a point for every ballot where they appear, except those with only one point.

The Mounties are coming off a strong week, securing three wins over College of Idaho, Warner Pacific, and Multnomah, dropping just one set across all matches.

The Cascade Collegiate Conference continues to show its national strength, with three teams in the top ten. Along with Eastern Oregon, Southern Oregon remains steady at No. 5, and Corban University ranks No. 8. All three teams are tied for first place in conference play, each holding an 8-1 record and accounting for each other's only loss.

The Mountaineers will look to extend their seven-game winning streak this weekend when they travel to Walla Walla University on October 4th. The match is set for a 2:00 p.m. PT start.
