LA GRANDE, Ore. – Eastern Oregon University Football and Athletics are pleased to announce the upcoming 2023 football schedule. The Mountaineers will return to the turf slated to play 10 games with six at home in Community Stadium.
 
"We are really looking forward to this upcoming 2023 season," Head Coach Tim Camp said. "The 2023 Mounties will play harder, smarter, be more physical and finish with passion. This will be the Mountie Football standard."
 
EOU will open up the season with two nonconference matchups taking on Montana Western in an out-of-conference matchup at home on September 2, followed by a home game against Whitworth on September 9. The Mounties will officially start Frontier Conference play against Montana Tech on September 16.
 
"This schedule will be new and different for a lot of us because we will have several fresh faces who are all extremely competitive and will raise our level of competition right away," Camp said. "This is a very exciting schedule with key games throughout the season and I know our players are very excited about the challenges that lie ahead."
