PORTLAND, Ore. – Eastern Oregon Women's Lacrosse hit the road again Friday this time taking on NCAA Division III Cornell College in a neutral site matchup hosted at Multnomah University. Cornell's offensive attack proved to be to much as they racked up 12 goals on their way to a 12-2 win over the Mounties. With the loss Eastern now drops to 0-6 on the year.
Saydee Hetrick got the Mounties on the board in the first quarter before EOU's offense went silent in the second and third. A
Maya Smith goal in the fourth wrapped up scoring for EOU on the evening. In goal for the Mounties,
Sydney Vopat tallied 10 saves.
Next up for EOU is a bout with Corban University. Eastern will get a couple weeks off before taking on the Warriors on Saturday, March 25 for their home opener at Community Stadium.
