Mounties Trounce Argos in Game One, Game Two Postponed

CALDWELL, Idaho - After a couple reschedules The Eastern Oregon Mountaineers (8-3) traveled to Caldwell Idaho to open up Cascade Conference play against The University of Providence Argo's (0-4). EOU was excited to open things up as they collectively had 19 hits and five homeruns to take game one 21-0 in five innings. Game two will continue tomorrow at 11 am at Symms field in Caldwell due to todays weather delay. Games three and four will be played after game two wraps up.

GAME 1
The Mounties started off their Sunday by wrapping up game one in a five inning 21-0 win over the Argo's. Cailtin Crist went 3-4 grabbing 4 RBI's and 2 homeruns, Makayla Mauger, Hannah Tyree, and Truh Merriman also stepped up and each tossed in a homerun as well. Kaylie Hoskins held her own on the mound once again, throwing up double digits in strikeouts holding the Argo's to just three hits. EOU collectively had 19 hits, 20 RBIs, and no errors to finish game one.
