Daktronics Scholar Athlete (2024)
2024 • Senior: Played in 32 games and started 7 games for the Mounties... Had a .400 batting average on 45 at-bats... Scored 3 runs and tallied 18 hits... Hit 4 doubles on the season... In the field, had 11 putouts and 3 assists with a fielding percentage of .933.
In High School: Hanosky graduated from Madison High School in 2019. She lettered 4 years in softball and hit 7 home runs during her high school career. She was all-conference selection her junior and senior year including 1st team catcher. As a senior, she was team captain and her team was Academic State Champions. She graduated high school with honors and a 4.14 GPA.
Before EOU: Hanosky previously attended Yakima Valley College. During the 2019-2020 season, she was leading the NWAC conference with 9 doubles and hit one home run. In 2020-2021 season, she led the team with 9 doubles and 27 RBIs and hit 2 home runs. At the end of 2021 season, she received the NWAC Academic Excellence Award and received NWAC 2021 top performer for softball. In the 2021-2022 season, she had 4 home runs and 30 RBIs. She received the NWAC Academic Excellence Award for a second time as well as the Coach's Award. She made the Dean's list and President's list on multiple occasions. She graduated YVC with honors and a 3.6 GPA.
Off the Field: Hanosky is majoring in Health and Human Performance with an emphasis in Exercise Science. Her sports hero is her big brother, Karson. She enjoys reading, playing the piano, and playing the violin. She loves to the outdoors, hiking, biking, paddle boarding, and anything on the water. Her favorite food is ice cream. Her favorite movie is Tangled. Her favorite genre of music is country.
