Box Score 3 CALDWELL, ID. The Eastern Oregon Mountaineers (8-3) locked in for a busy day as they faced The University of Providence Argo's (0-6) in CCC play. Due to a weather delay on Sunday, EOU and Providence wrapped up game two of the series at 11 am this morning, where EOU took the win 7-3. Following that was 8-0 win for EOU, where they held the Argo's to one hit, and seven different Mounties scored. To end the day was a late game thriller as the Mounties led for most of the game until the Argos scored two in the bottom of the seventh to tie it up. EOU completed the sweep and took the eight inning game 3-2. EOU quickly turns around this weekend for more CCC play. The Mounties will host The Southern Oregon University Raiders on March 3rd, at 1 PM and 3 PM at Peggy Anderson Softball Field.
GAME 1
Picking up where they left off on Sunday, EOU took this game 7-3.
Mckenna Stallings and
Kaylin Winans each totaled three strikeouts on the mound to hold the Argo's to seven hits.
Haley Ebner was comfortable at the plate, going 2-4, grabbing three RBIs, a double, and a triple to help move the Mounties around. The University of Providence tried to edge out the Mounties as they had two home runs to bring the Argos within two. EOU then stayed hot at the plate and brought in two more runs to secure the win in the seventh.

GAME 2
EOU checked back in and started game three of the series with an 8-0 win.
Kaylie Hoskins was ready to go throwing 13 strikeouts, allowing one hit for the Argo's offense, holding them scoreless.
Maddy Stateler helped move the Mounties around, going 3-4 at the plate with two RBIs and a double.
Addison Ribordy had two runs, while six other Mounties each tallied a run. EOU had zero errors for the day as well. University of Providence's Grace Flemming had the lone hit for the Argos.

STANDOUT PERFORMANCES
GAME 3
Wrapping up their opening weekend of CCC play, EOU took the series' final game in a 3-2 win.
Caitlin Crist was able to score EOU's first run, and she also went 2-3 with an RBI.
Maddy Stateler went 3-3 with an RBI.
Haley Tyree also went 2-3 with a stolen base and a run. The Argos came back fighting. After going scoreless for the first six innings, Karlie David got on base and scored the first run that started the Argos' rally that tied the game in the bottom of the seventh. EOU battled back in the top of the eighth, where a
Maddy Stateler single brought in
Shelby Starr for the game winning run. The Mounties locked in defensively and kept their lead, holding UP scoreless in the eighth.
