LA GRANDE, Ore. – Beverly Slater hit a historic milestone in No. 14 Eastern Oregon's Friday night win over the Beacons. Slater put up four in the first quarter then finally broke out of the triple digits with a free-throw in the second quarter. At the half EOU led 41-33.

EOU put on the pressure in the second half to run away with the game. The Mounties outscored the Beacons 15-9 in the third thanks to the combo of Sailor Liefke, Shaelie Burgess, and Brie Holecek who scored all 15 points. With a comfortable lead Eastern cruised to a 74-58 victory.
