The game remained tightly contested through three quarters, featuring six lead changes, with the Yotes establishing separation after a 19-13 advantage in the fourth.
Eastern Oregon maintained a 37.9% shooting percentage throughout the game, with a 31.3% success rate from beyond the arc. Conversely, College of Idaho exhibited a more efficient performance, improving their shooting to 45.5% in the second half and maintaining a consistent 41.7% from three-point range. Their perfect 5-for-5 free-throw shooting in the second half further sealed the victory down the stretch.
Bayley Brennan fueled the Mounties' offense, connecting on 7 of the team's 10 three-pointers and finishing with a total of 25 points. Beverly Slater contributed with 10 points and 13 rebounds for a double-double, while Brie Holecek's all-around game included 9 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists.
College of Idaho's Mia Austin controlled the game with 26 points, connecting on 6-of-11 from beyond the arc. Jada Reed's four free throws in the fourth quarter proved crucial in securing the victory.
