CALDWELL, Idaho - Eastern Oregon men's basketball faced a formidable College of Idaho team on Saturday, surrendering a 75-45 loss the No. 2 ranked Yotes. Despite battling back in the second half, the Mounties 42-18 halftime deficit was too much to overcome..

Eastern Oregon struggled offensively, posting a 25.8% shooting percentage for the game, while College of Idaho shot 41.2% throughout the contest. The Mounties also faced challenges in rebounding and turnovers, with College of Idaho holding a notable 36-46 rebounding advantage and forcing 17 turnovers.

Brennen Newsom contributed 7 points and 6 rebounds for the Mountaineers, while Garrett Hawkes led the team with 10 points. Jaden Hansen added 4 points and 3 rebounds.

College of Idaho's Johnny Radford was instrumental in the victory, leading all scorers with 24 points and knocking down four three-pointers.
