FOREST GROVE, Ore. - The Eastern Oregon Men's Wrestling team was back in action Sunday as they traveled to Forest Grove, Ore. to compete in the Mike Clock Open. The Mountaineers managed to place four wrestlers in the top six of their respective weight divisions.
The top finisher of the day for the Mountaineers was Trace Evans of the 157 pound division who finished fourth after going 2-1 on the day. Evans won his first match of the day by major decision, 13-2, and followed with a 7-3 decision win over Daniel Jaramillo of Southwestern Oregon Community College. However, Evans dropped his semifinal match to Varrius Scanlan of Umpqua Community College.
The remaining three place winners for the Mountaineers were Hunter Kemper of the 157-pound division, Jason Crisostomo of the 174-pound division, and JR Scott of the 184-pound division who all finished sixth in their respective weight divisions.

Eastern will be back in action on Friday, Nov. 17 as they will return home and to Cascade Collegiate Conference duals as they will take on the Raiders of Southern Oregon University in a Battle for the Wagon Wheel.
