CLACKAMAS, Ore.- Eastern was back in action Sunday as they traveled to Clackamas, Ore, to compete in the Clackamas Community College Open. The Mountaineers racked up four placewinners in the tournament that featured wrestlers from the Community Colleges to NCAA Division 1 Universities. 

The highest placewinner for the Mounties on Sunday was Adrian Guevara who finished fourth in the 125 pound division. Guevara went 2-2 on the day on his route to the podium picking up wins over Umpqua Community College's John Paul Lavarius and Treasure Valley Community College's Avian Martinez.

Eastern will be back in action Wednesday, Feb.1 as they take on Southern Oregon University on the road to close out Cascade Collegiate Conference duals. The match is set to start at 6 PM in Prineville, Ore
