SALEM, Ore.- The Mountaineers were back in action this afternoon as they took on Corban University to kick off the second weekend of CCC play. The Mounties struggled tonight and would eventually end up falling 3-0 to the 21st ranked Warriors.

The match was a physical match as 33 total fouls were called and 5 yellow cards were assessed.  The Warriors were able to strike first against the Mounties in the 24th minute giving them a 1-0 lead. This would ultimately be the game winning goal as the Mounties were shutout for only the second time in the 2022 season. The Warriors would tack on two more goals leading them to a 3-0 victory.

Eastern Oregon will be back in action Saturday afternoon as they travel to Eugene, Ore. to take on Bushnell University. Kick off is set for 3:00 p.m.
