KLAMATH FALLS, Ore- The Mounties were back in action Saturday afternoon as they took on the Hustlin' Owls of Oregon Institute of Technology. Eastern ultimately fell to Oregon Tech, 1-0 in a hard fought battle.

The match started with the Hustlin' Owls jumping out to a quick lead as they were able to find the back of the net in the second minute. This would ultimately be the game winning goal as the Mountaineers were unable to find a groove offensively. OIT posted 18 total shots in the match, 6 of which were on goal. Mounties goalkeeper Dalton Mauzay was able to respond to the early goal by the Hustlin' Owls tallying five saves through the remainder of the game. 

The Mounties will be back in action on Oct. 21 as they travel to College Place, Wash. to take on Walla Walla University. Kick off is set for 2:00 p.m.
