LA GRANDE, Ore. – Eastern Oregon Men's Basketball has another one-game weekend on tap as the team will head to Washington to battle another conference foe. EOU will face Northwest on Friday, but will not face Evergreen State College as the team is out due to COVID protocols.

• EOU has not played a two-game weekend series since they played on the road at Corban and Bushnell to begin the New Year.
• The Mountaineers are just 4-6 on the road this season. They will get a fifth road win with the forfeit victory at Evergreen State.

CCC Player of the Week

Cooper Lumsden was named the CCC Men's basketball Player of the Week for his efforts against Multnomah.
• The true freshman started his first career game for EOU and shined, scoring a career-high 32 points. He shot 7-16 from the floor and was 6-13 from deep to finish over 40% in both categories.
• Lumsden also did not miss a single free throw going 12-12 and he dished out a game best nine assists to go along with five rebounds.
Previously Against Northwest
• EOU and NU squared off once last spring season in Kirkland with the Eagles holding on for a 78-68 win.
Paul Pennington led the offense with 14 points.
• Since the 2008-09 season, Eastern has a slim 13-10 series lead on NU. In true road games EOU is 7-7 against the Eagles.

• Malatare and Lovelace also rank ninth and 10th in minutes played at 30.8 and 30.2, respectively.
Scouting the Competition
Northwest Eagles
• NU enters the weekend with a 6-8 overall record and is just 3-6 in CCC play. At home however, NU is 4-2 inside Kristi Pavilion.
• Offensively, the Eagles average 74.9 points per game on a 46.1 field goal percentage. They shoot 34.2% from deep but just 61.5% at the free throw line. They 16.2 assists per game but give up the ball 13.3 times per game.
• Defensively, the Eagles are giving up 77.9 points per game and let opponents shoot 46.3% from the field to go along with 35.2% from three-point range.
• NU grabs 34.9 rebounds per game but has a margin of -4.4. They average just 6.8 steals per game and block two shots per game.
• Rayvaughn Bolton leads the way in scoring at 13.2 points per game. He shoots 47.9% from the floor and grabs a team best 5.8 rebounds per game.
• Blton also leads the team in steals and assists. He has 42 assists and is second in average at 3.2 per game. He has 21 total steals and tallies 1.6 per game.
• Connor Drinkwine is second in scoring at 11.6 points per game. He shoots 39.5% overall and is a 39% shooter from beyond the arc.
