CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference has announced its spring women's basketball All-Conference teams and Eastern Oregon University is well represented on the list. The Mountaineers had four selections overall, with three First Team selections.
 
Garnering First Team All-CCC honors were Beverly Slater, Taylor Stricklin, and Sailor Liefke. Jillian Albright was named to the Honorable Mention list to round out the group.
 
Along with First Team All-CCC honors, Slater was named Spring Player of the Year for the CCC. Slater started in 19 games for the Mountaineers in 2020-21 and was the team's leading scorer. She averaged 16 points per game on 57.1% shooting overall. She was also the Mountaineers' leader in rebounds, averaged 9.6 and pulled down 182 total rebounds for the season. In 10 of her starts this year, Slater posted a double-double and scored in double figures in every game.
 
Stricklin was the Mountaineers second leading scorer this season in 19 starts averaging 12.5 points per game. She shot 40.7% from the floor overall and was a 35.8% shooter from three-point range. She was also second on the team in rebounding averaging 5.6 per contest. She grabbed 106 total boards and also had 13 blocked shots on the year.
 
Liefke was the floor general for the Mountaineers during the 2020-21 season. In her first year, Liefke averaged 3.7 assists per game and dished out 71 in 19 starts. Liefke was also third on the team in scoring at 11.8 points per game. Shot 39.6% overall and was 39.8% from beyond the arc.
 
Albright started in all 20 games for the Mountaineers in her senior campaign. She was fourth on the team in scoring at 10.3 points per contest. Albright was also one of the top shooters for Eastern as she went 54.7% from the floor overall and was a 42.4% shooter from three-point range. She also ranked third in assists per game at and steals at 2.8 and 19 respectively.
