CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference has announced its 2021 Spring All-Conference selections for men's basketball and Eastern Oregon had a pair of athletes make the list, including the Player of the Spring.
 
Earning Player of the Spring honors was Max McCullough as well as making the First Team All-CCC list. Also making the All-CCC list was Justin Jeske who was tabbed as an Honorable Mention selection.
 
McCullough had a historic season despite the challenges of COVID-19 and a delayed start to the year. He averaged 21.1 points per game to rank third in the CCC and lead the team. He led the league in assists with 104 total and averaged 5.5 per game. He was sixth in steals at 1.7 per contest and averaged 34.1 points per game. He shot 42.7% form the floor in 19 games started and was a 35.8% three-point shooter. This year McCullough made history when he became the EOU career leader in points scored at 1,791. He then later became the first player ever in program history to eclipse 2,000 career points. His total stands at 2,061 following the end of the year. For McCullough this is his third All-CCC honor, with each one being a First Team nod. It is also McCullough's first Player of the Year selection.
 
Jeske had a breakout season in 2020-21 as he started in all 20 games for the Mountaineers. He averaged 28.0 minutes per game and nearly averaged a double-double. He was the team leader in rebounds at 8.4 per contest and ranked third in the CCC. He was fifth on the team in scoring at 10.7 points per game and shot 65.1% from the floor. Jeske's field goal percentage was third highest in the league. He also tallied 40 assists, 26 steals, and had 10 blocked shots. For Jeske, this is his first All-CCC honor.
