HELENA, Mont. - Eastern Oregon University Men's Soccer suffered its fifth loss of the season Sunday afternoon, as the team fell by a score of 4-1 to the Carroll College Saints. With the loss, EOU now sits at 1-5 on the season overall and 0-3 in Cascade Collegiate Conference East Division play.
How it Happened
• The Mountaineers came out aggressive in the first period taking seven shots in the first 45 minutes of play. However, the Saints (3-0, 3-0 CCC) were able to respond by putting up 10 first period shots of their own, converting on two.
• Carroll College finished with 18 shots for the game to EOU's 13. The Saints also had the advantage in shots on goal with 12 to the Mountaineers' three.
• The Saints' first goal came in only the 11th minute to grab the lead early at 1-0. They added another in the 31st minute of play, taking a 2-0 lead going into halftime.
• Carroll College came out of the break scoring two goals in the first 10 minutes of the half to take a 4-0 lead on its home field.
• After a strong 20 minutes of defense by both teams, EOU's Miguel Aguilar netted a goal for the Mounties in the 79th minute to bring the score to its final of 4-1. • EOU finished with eight fouls to Carroll's six, and both teams had two yellow cards.

• Miguel Aguilar had one goal for EOU on two shots.
• Patrick Larsen led EOU with four shots for the game.
• Angel Rojas and Hector Galleano added two shots each for the Mounties.
• Goalkeepers Max Rose and Noah Galow both finished with four saves.
For the Saints
• Nick Lowrimore had two goals for the Saints on five shots, three of which were on goal.
• Santiago Morazzani also had two goals for the Saints on four shots.
• In net, Kaden Connor finished the game with two saves in 90 minutes of action.
