Milmine and Devers Sweep CCC Indoor Track Athlete of the Week Honors

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference announced its Embrace Health-Santiam Hospital Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week honors Monday morning. Eastern Oregon swept the track side as Cody Milmine and Jasmine Devers were selected after a record-breaking weekend.

Both Devers and Milmine broke the program records in the 60-meter dash and 200-meter dash, respectively. All four school records broken this past weekend came from the duo.

In the 60, Devers had the top time in the prelims running a school record time of 7.75 and she barely lost any footing in the finals as she won the race in a time 7.77 seconds, which is second fastest in school history. Devers prelims time of 7.75 in the is currently 12th-best in the NAIA. In the 200, she continued her record setting day as she blazed across the finish line in 24.62 seconds to take over the all-time No. 1 spot in program history. Her 200 time is currently the second fastest time in the NAIA.

Milmine was quick out of the blocks in the 60 prelims running a 6.91 to tie for the top spot in program history. Not satisfied with sharing first, Milmine found another gear in the finals and crossed the finish line in 6.83 seconds to leave himself alone at No.1 in school history for the 60. His winning time is currently seventh fastest in the NAIA. Feeding off the momentum from dominating the 60, Milmine posted a blistering time of 21.70 and like Devers, took over not one but two school records.
