McCullough Earns CoSIDA Academic All-American Honors

AUSTIN, Texas - Eastern Oregon men's basketball junior guard Max McCullough was named a Second Team CoSIDA Academic All-American by the College Sports Information Directors of America for the 2019-20 season.

The NAIA Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NAIA national governance structure to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2019-20 NAIA Academic All-America® teams program. This award not only considers outstanding performance on the court but also in the classroom.

Academically a senior, McCullough is currently majoring in Business Administration and boasts a 3.78 GPA. On the court, the junior from Post Falls, Idaho led the Mountaineers in scoring with an average of 19.6 PPG, as well as assists by dishing out four per game, and overall minutes played.

McCullough also earned First Team All-CCC honors and was a CCC Player of the Week selection on Dec. 16 after he posted a career high of 41 points against Pacific University and 26 against Whitman the previous day. McCullough's commitment to his team as well as his education shows just how much dedication he has to being a student as well as an athlete.
