FULL RESULTS

BOISE, Idaho –
The Eastern Oregon track and field team completed the Ed Jacoby Invite & Multis with a pair of program records and a number of national qualifiying marks on Saturday.

Freshman Jasmine Devers snapped the EOU record in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.18 seconds. Devers took fourth place in a loaded field of 65 racers that featured 16 heats. The field consisted of mostly NCAA Division I athletes from Utah State, Boise State, Nevada, Weber State and more. Devers time also automatically qualified her for nationals and is the fastest time in the NAIA entering the day.

Sophomore Megan Bolton, who set the record in the 600 meters last week, broke her own record on Saturday. Bolton finished in a time of 1:33.61 as she took first place overall. Her time from last week was already an auto qualifier to nationals as she improved upon that, also ranking first in the NAIA entering the day.

The women's 4x400 meter relay team of junior Megan Boals, sophomore Michelle Herbes, Bolton and senior Elizabeth Herbes hit an auto qualifying time as they took fifth place overall on Saturday. Their time of 3:56.17 is the second fastest time entering the day.

Freshman Cody Milmine made it two-for-two for EOU in the 200-meter dash, as he also auto qualified for nationals in the event pending time adjustments. Milmine took seventh place out of 50 runners with a mark of 22.25 seconds, just one one-hundredth of a second under the auto threshold.

Senior Alex Navarro grabbed fifth place in the 1,000 meter run as he snagged a provisional qualifying mark to nationals. Navarro finished in 2:20.48, but after time adjustments due to the track, his time was just 0.56 over the auto qualifying mark. He currently ranks fifth in the NAIA in the event.
