2017 CCC Preseason Cross Country Polls Released

LA GRANDE, Ore. – With the first meet set to take place on September 9 at the Chukar Classic, both EOU cross country programs notched a spot inside the top six of the Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) 2017 Coaches' Preseason Poll announced Monday morning.
 
The men's squad finished second totaling 68 points and collected two first place votes in the process. Southern Oregon garnered the top spot tallying 77 points along with seven first place votes. The Raiders captured their ninth consecutive CCC crown in 2016 and went on to claim the NAIA title.

On the women's side, the Blue and Gold garnered the sixth spot with 37 points. College of Idaho earned the number one spot collecting 74 points and four first place votes. Northwest Christian and SOU tied for second, earning 66 points apiece.
