LA GRANDE, Ore. – Sophomore forward Alexandria Cuaresma drilled a penalty-kick goal to tie the match in the 74th minute, and the EOU women's soccer team ultimately fought College of Idaho to a 2-2, double-overtime draw on Saturday afternoon at the EOU Soccer Field.

Cuaresma's tally was her third of the year for EOU (7-4-3, 4-2-2 CCC), while freshman midfielder Veronica Sullivan netted the Mountaineers' other goal in the 27th minute.

The Yotes regained the edge (2-1) in the 46th minute after Summer Jackson sent one home. The Blue and Gold fired six shots in the next 30 minutes before Cuaresma drilled the PK to make it a 2-2 affair.

EOU outshot College of Idaho, 5-2, in the extra frames, but the two CCC foes ultimately battled to a double-overtime draw on a rainy day in La Grande.
