The Mountaineers have one game this week as they host College of Idaho on Friday at 5:30 p.m. PT. It's a whiteout at Quinn on Friday! Wear White and get Loud. Fans who show up wearing white will receive two dollars off their admission.
 
No. 23
EOU climbed to No. 23 in the latest edition of the 2014-15 NAIA Division II Women's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll, the national office announced Tuesday. This is the highest ranking for the Mountaineers this season.
 
Scouting the Yotes
The Yotes of College of Idaho come into this matchup against EOU with an 6-16 overall record and 5-8 in CCC action. College of Idaho is currently tied for seventh in the CCC. Leading the way for College of Idaho is Elisha Hensey who is averaging 12.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 2.2 steals per game this season. The Yotes are averaging 58.8 points per game this season and allowing 70.9. College of Idaho is currently on a four game losing streak. The Yotes are 2-8 on the road this season.
 
Last Time Against C of I
The last time the Mountaineers and Yotes squared off was Jan. 9. A season-high 22 points by Airashay Rogers led then-No. 24 Eastern Oregon University women's basketball team past I-84 rival College of Idaho, 67-60, on Friday evening at the J.A. Albertson's Activities Center. Rogers, was 7-of-13 shooting to lead EOU to their fourth straight victory. Madeline Laan followed with 16 points, while Maya Ah You added 11 points. Kassy Larson just missed out on a double-double as she scored nine points and collected nine rebounds.
 
Outrebounding The Opponents
The Mountaineers are outrebounding their opponents by a margin of 12.9 rebounds per game, which leads the NAIA. The Mountaineers have outrebounded their opponents in 19 of their 24 games on the season. In the last meeting against College of Idaho, EOU collected 18 more rebounds than the Yotes.
 
Top Five in the Nation
Eastern Oregon finds themselves ranked in the top five a few statistical categories. Besides leading the nation in rebounding margin, EOU ranks fourth in scoring margin as they are outscoring their opponents by 20.3 points per game and are dishing out the fifth most assists per game (17.7).

When EOU scores 70 or more points in a game, the Mountaineers hold a 15-1 record this season. The Mountaineers are a perfect 9-0 when scoring between 70 and 79 points.
 
Last Weekend
Last weekend the Mountaineers defeated Warner Pacific and Concordia. On Friday night against Warner Pacific, EOU shot 54 percent and held Warner Pacific College to 25 percent shooting as the Mountaineers routed the Knights 78-44 on Friday night on Bart Valentine Court. Jordan Klebaum led the Mountaineers with 22 points on 7-of-13 shooting, including 5-for-10 from behind the arc. A trio of Mountaineers - Airashay RogersKelsey Hill and Maya Ah You- followed with nine points. The next night, Eastern Oregon increased their winning-streak to five games after defeating Concordia University, 73-54. Nikki Osborne led all scorers with 18 points as she was 4-of-6 behind the arc and 4-for-4 from free throw line. Kassy Larson had a double-double, 15 points and 12 rebounds, for the Mountaineers. Airashay Rogers added 12 and Maya Ah You scored 10 to round out the players with double figures. The Mountaineers shot 46 percent from the field, including 47 percent from behind the 3-point line.
 
Last Home Games
The 2014-15 EOU men's basketball regular season is coming to an end and next weekend Feb. 13-14 are the last home games of the regular season for the Mountaineers.
 
CCC Tournament
The 2015 Cascade Collegiate Conference Women's Basketball Tournament will feature the top eight teams in the regular season standings. Seeding will be based on the regular season standings with the highest remaining seed hosting the round. The winners of the CCC regular season and the CCC tournament earn automatic bids to the NAIA Division II Championship.
 
What's Up Next
The Mountaineers remain at home next weekend (Feb. 13-14) as they close out their 2014-15 regular season home schedule with Corban and Northwest Christian. Both games start at 7:30 p.m. PT next weekend.
